Leigha and Copeland wanted to have their engagement session in a place that’s very special to them - AND where Copeland proposed! A section of the Appalachian Trail accessible only if you’re actually hiking the dang thing OR through the neighborhood where Copeland’s family mountain house is, it’s beyond dreamy. And actually only a few miles from where I got married! I drove by my venue on the way there, so that was fun. We also both have a dog named Rowan, so obviously they have great taste. Enjoy this golden light drenched, every color in the rainbow kinda sunset sweet mountain love story!
Kat + Cameron are the kind of people that you just instantly love. We met randomly a few times before she reached out to me about there wedding, including a time where she recognized my tattoo artist at a glance and stopped to chat about it in a restaurant. They got married in what was supposed to be a hurricane, moved their ceremony inside and did the dang thing.
Zoe is one of my closest friends, and being a part of her day was the sweetest honor.
She and Andrew knew they wanted an intimate day with their immediate family. They got ready at an Airbnb in Asheville, where they shared their first look. Then we hopped in the car, turned on their "wedding day” playlist, and headed for the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were lucky enough to be there at peak time for fall foliage, and definitely were gifted some extra luck by the swarm of lady bugs landing all over the two of them during their ceremony.
After the ceremony, we explored the mountain tops, covered in clouds until dark, when they headed back into town for a celebratory dinner with their families.
