Rachel and Robert are the sweetest little Florida babes. Their January wedding in St. Augustine will always be a favorite. We hadn’t actually met before the wedding, but Rachel is someone I feel like I’ve always known and will always know! She sent me a Dwight pin in the mail when I was watching the Office through for the first time (embarrassing that it was my first time, I know), and we recently took some anniversary photos in Asheville too!
You guys know I love a good floral installation, but when Rachel told me they were intentionally leaving the ceremony space bare, I got really excited. Here are some of her words on the subject - “I really hope the ceremony is filled with so much love and joy that it's tangible. I specifically left the ceremony space bare--no flowers, no arches, no aisle runners (with the exception of the family photos) so as to keep the attention on what's important. I planned to have all of those things, and then before signing my flower contract, just felt like I wanted to strip everything down to the minimum and let the words of our minister, our vows, our prayers, our excitement be what filled the room. That, I would say, was my most important priority.”
I loved every single second of their day!
